Our Featured Artist
Tessa Brooke Ryan
Tessa Brooke Ryan is a Denver-based emerging artist whose work investigates the intersection of emotional expression and the natural world through large-scale abstract painting. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, she employs layered compositions, fluid movement, and richly saturated color to create pieces that are both dynamic and contemplative.
Her practice is rooted in intuition and process, allowing each work to evolve organically through successive layers of texture and form. Drawing inspiration from natural formations, shifting landscapes, and the complexities of human experience, her paintings explore the balance between tension and harmony, structure and spontaneity.
Ryan’s work is informed by a deeply personal journey, where art first emerged as a means of processing and transformation. This foundation continues to shape her approach, resulting in pieces that invite reflection, emotional connection, and open interpretation. Through her work, she seeks to create immersive visual experiences that resonate beyond the surface, offering viewers a moment of pause and a sense of quiet discovery.

Alyssa Rossi | Leading with Heart

I’ve always loved art in all its forms, but in 2021 I joined a group called Wild Women…an art-therapy-inspired course centered on manifesting your dreams through creativity. What started as an exploration quickly became true therapy for me. I began pairing my paintings with poetry, letting words and color hold the emotions I didn’t always know how to speak.
I never imagined I’d someday share my art with the world, let alone have people collecting my originals and prints. Yet here I am…turning something deeply personal into something others can connect with. Creating has become a passion, a grounding ritual, and honestly a necessity for my sanity at times (lol).
I hope you enjoy my paintings and the words that accompany them. Each piece carries its own emotion and story, and my wish is that they bring something meaningful to your heart as well.

Dana Ewing | Peak One Art Studio
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee in the Appalachian Mountain region, Dana has always known the mountains to be a place of fun exploration, solace, and peace. Since moving west in 2016, the Rockies have won her heart and Denver has become home. As a self-taught wood burning artist who dabbles in an array of other mediums too, Dana enjoys gleaning creative inspiration from the beauty of the surrounding peaks; studying the intricate details of creation while on fishing excursions with her husband; and taking her German Shorthaired Pointer pup, Wendell, up to the mountains so he can point at all the squirrels that live beyond his backyard.
Peak One Art Studio takes its name from the Peak 1 trail in the Ten Mile Range in Summit County, Colorado. It is the artist’s favorite Colorado hike, for many reasons. It is a place where life’s trials and joys collide every time she sets foot on the trail. Much like tree blazes on hiking trails that mark the way to go, Summit County’s Lake Dillon and its surrounding mountain ranges have been that blaze for her. It is in that small pocket of earth where she has been led to embrace the throes of life, and where God has revealed Himself most beautifully and clearly, since her memorable visit in the winter of 2004.
Peak 1 symbolizes the triumph of overcoming, the celebration of beauty, and the willingness to embrace the journey.
