***this class is taught by Annie Close, an occupational therapist who specializes in pelvic floor therapy for women and children. She is the co-founder of OWN Your Pelvic Health, a Denver based practice that provides in-home individualized pelvic floor therapy to women and children. As a mom who experienced her own pelvic floor dysfunction following birth, she takes a collaborative and holistic approach to treating her patients. She integrates manual therapy techniques and corrective exercise training to treat pregnant and postpartum clients. She has special certification in Pediatric Bowel and Bladder Dysfunction to better serve her pediatric clients.  In order to provide the most holistic care for new moms and babies, in 2020 she became a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) as taught by the International Association of Infant Massage. She loves working with new moms and their little ones and providing massage as an extra benefit for bonding and baby’s development. Beyond her love for learning about all things pelvic health, she is a mom to an active little boy, is currently expecting baby #2 this summer, an avid runner, and lover of all things chocolate.
