Trauma-Informed Yoga
This class is taught through a trauma-informed lens, emphasizing mindful word usage and fostering a safe, supportive environment. You will be encouraged to make choices that feel right for you and your body. Our goal is to provide a safe space for all individuals and bodies.
Trauma affects our nervous systems, brains and bodies as a whole. This class is ideal for those suffering from PTSD, Anxiety or Depressive conditions, trauma diagnoses, deep loss or grief, and also physical traumas. We hope you experience the positive effects of yoga through this class. We recommend complementing this class with support from a trusted therapist and/or our Trauma Touch Therapists.
